When it comes to dogs David is hard working,dedicated and without doubt a very good trainer and handler, he has a way with dogs which is seldom found and is able to turn out well schooled dogs either for shooting or field trials. David is patient and a good communicator with people and their dogs, he gives good advice, builds confidence and has the experience to show how to get the best results from their dogs by adapting his training methods to suit each dog. Over the years we have had lots of memorable times, both in training and at competitions and I have enjoyed every minute in the very best of company. David is not only a very good trainer and handler but all so a very good friend.

I had been trying different training methods with my twelve month old Springer dog and trying to move forward but got mixed results. I thought that I needed some help so I asked a couple of friends and they put me in touch with David. After a chat by phone I went to see him at one of his classes, his approach to training was instructive and accomplished. After some lessons I felt at ease and confident to move on, so much so that I now have a keen interest in competing with my dog in field trials. I could not have got to this stage as easily without David’s help and guidance and we have developed a good trainer/ handler relationship.
